After studying secondary and high school in Istanbul, Dr. Ahmet Demir graduated from İnönü University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. Between 1997 and 2006, he worked as a doctor at the State Hospital, health center and Tuberculosis Dispensary in Viranşehir, Şanlıurfa. Meanwhile, he worked as a doctor and manager at Private Lokman Hekim Polyclinic.

He worked at Bartın Gynecology and Children's Hospital between 2006 and 2008. At the same time, he opened and managed the Private Life Medical Center. After working as a Family Physician in Bartın between 2008-2012, he worked as Bartın Public Health Director between 2012-2016. He worked at Antalya Konyaaltı Community Health Center in 2016-2017. Between 2017 and 2021, he worked as a tourism physician in the Belek region of Antalya Private Serik Anadolu Hospital. He has been working in his own private practice in Şişli since 2022. He is married and has three children, one boy and two girls. He speaks fluent English, intermediate Arabic and Russian. He graduated from 3 other medical schools. He holds Master's Degrees from the Faculty of Public Administration Business Administration, Faculty of Human Resources Management and Turkish Aeronautical Association University Health Institutions Management.
